Primary Coverage of Worker Compensation Insurance:
Compensation benefits for daily income due to illness for normal patient room
This coverage gives a daily payout to the insured when they have to stay in the normal patient room for an expected period of time there is a limit for each plan and policy from 5 consecutive days to 350 consecutive year
Compensation benefits for daily income arising from injury for normal patient room
This coverage gives a daily payout to the insured when they have to stay in the normal patient room for an expected period of time there is a limit for each plan and policy from 5 consecutive days to 350 consecutive year
Daily income compensation benefits in case of treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU or CCU)
This coverage gives a daily payout to the insured when they have to stay in intensive care unit for an expected period of time

Medical expenses benefit is usually 10% of the insured amount, although some insurance companies have made their own policies that cover more for medical expenses. This coverage will benefit the insured person should an accident result to an injury that requires hospitalization.

Driving or being a passenger on a motorcycle
The coverage for riding at the back as a passenger in a motorcycle is usually specified in a different section. This amount is usually lower than the insured amount. This will give benefit to the beneficiary if the insured dies as a passenger in a motorcycle accident.
Murder or assault
Murder and Assault benefits will benefit the beneficiary if the insured is murdered or assaulted. The amount specified for this benefit is different from the death and dismemberment. The benefit for this is usually lower than the insured amount.
